Today at lunch, I decided to walk around the campus where I work. Southwestern campus is so quiet that you have nothing to focus on but your thoughts. Here is what was on my mind today:
There was a conversation earlier in my office on what was considered an invasion of privacy with regards to your online identity and what is acceptable use of cross-linking identity-related objects. There is a wonderful Wall Street Journal article that explores this subject quite well. The reality of your online identity does not differ much from the six degrees of separation experiment only now it also include the degrees of truth as well.
