Pattie Maes’ lab at MIT – Sixth Sense

Oh dear, the folks over at MIT have a working augmented reality system that will interact with your environment and gather rich meta data on objects or people that you interact with.  The system is actually wearable and not that intrusive.  Just think what the final ‘to market’ product will look like!  This demostration brings us one step closer to the interactive screens seen on The Matrix or Minority Report. I will be the first in line when this tech hits the streets.
