Here is a picture I took of the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown from my phone. As you can see, you cannot walk into the park as it is under the usually calm San Gabriel river. Where was my 5d in all this? It was with me, just not the battery I was charging the night before. d’oh! Oh well, the camera on the phone is not that bad and is useful for events such as this. I wish I could post this directly to the blog so that images are updated as fast as my txt msgs are but for now, Verizon seems to have a process in place that still makes it easy, though a bit slower.
