My brain of late has been drained.  So much is going on in the world of tech yet I am too spent to really keep up.  Thankfully my wife found the perfect solution for me, a cool place to go for our Sunday activity.  There is the place in Marble Falls called Sweet Berry Farm that allows families to go out a pick their own boxe(s) of strawberries for a small fee of course.  It is about an hour drive from our home through the scenic hill country.  It felt good to just pick strawberries and enjoy the kids’ laughter as they scrambled to find the largest reddest berry in the patch. It was a good day with simple pleasures.  I need more days like this.

This blog is mostly dedicated to emerging tech, until my kiddos do something silly. Yes I am a technologist but will always be a dad first:

With a day full of soccer games and dealing with warm weather, we all headed to one of our neighborhood pools between the games to cool off.  Team Mexico, the team I coach, rallied in the second half yet fell to Team Ireland 4-3.  Team Columbia, Katalina’s team, worked hard pushing the ball up and down the field for their victory.  Rheanna and Team USA fought for a tie against another Team Mexico in the 9/10 age bracket.  We are all ready for the playoffs that will start in two weeks.
