It seems the move Warner Bros made to go Blu-Ray exclusively shocked the HD-DVD camp so much that they canceled their pre-CES press conference. This does not mean that HD-DVD has lost the format war or raising the white flag. It does mean that Blu-Ray now have exclusive access to nearly 70% of all movies produced by the major Hollywood studios. We all know the potential money that was exchange for Paramount and Dreamworks to abandon Blu-Ray for HD-DVD. But their support may not be enough as it seems New Line also committed to Blu-Ray. I never watched a movie on HD-DVD but I do love my PS3 and Netflix. Blu-Ray does make watching movies on a 106″ screen breathtaking.
